Sugarscape met up with Nathan Sykes this week to show him our beautiful Photoshopped work and see what he really thinks of 1D and all the shiz that has been going down.
Speaking about Niall Horan, Nathan said: “I love Niall… Can I just say that Niall is one of the nicest lads you’ll ever meet. Really nice lad.”
He also admitted that he had had enough of all the rivalry between the groups and was hoping to sort it all out at their Madison Square Garden gig next month.
“We’re doing a big gig together in December, we’re both playing Madison Square Garden with Justin as well, so we’re very much looking forward to that. Hopefully we get to see them, have a bit of a catch up and put any sort of silly little rivalry to bed, because we don’t want that.”
Oh how I wish it would all end, honestly <3 I'm tried of this silly feud.

Country diva Taylor Swift and British boyband The Wanted were two of the guests on the latest November 9th episode of ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’ on UK television. I’ll try my best to find photos and videos from the rest of their Radio Tour (: In the meanwhile, check out the photos in our gallery by clicking the thumbnails below and also, watch the interview below (:
TW talk about new album
The boys did an interview with MTV US where they talk about their new album. They talk about their exciting collaborations with LMFAO and Rita Ora and they also hint possible new collaborations with Justin Bieber and Chris Brown. Check out the video below! (:
Max George said, “Some of the songs are for other artists and we don’t always write for The Wanted. It’s different when it’s 30 songs that we’ve each written a share of individually, to put them together to make an album that actually makes sense because there were some that were to obscure, some that were too personal or whatever. We just need to get together a little bit more which we are going to do in the next couple months and hopefully have something decent by March.”
The Wanted, who are hoping to recruit Justin Bieber and Chris Brown to collaborate on the album, revealed that they have heard “whispers” of teaming up with Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull, but can’t confirm the collaboration.
Yet, that doesn’t mean they haven’t hooked up with other artists. The Wanted have already been in the studio with several hitmakers, including fellow British singer, Rita Ora.
“I don’t know what we are going to do with it,” Kaneswaran said of the Ora track. “We worked in a day, and it turned out really well, and it’s just sitting there waiting to be released among the public.”
One song that may not be released to the public is The Wanted’s collaboration with party rockers, LMFAO.
“We did a couple tracks with LMFAO and they are just far too crazy,” Sykes said. “I’m sure someone will do it. It was a wild track. I think slightly too far.”
Taking care of some Stateside promotions, The Wanted paid a visit to Elvis Duran’s Z100 Morning Show in New York City today (October 19).
Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes, Max George, and Siva Kaneswaran all looked excited as they fielded questions and interacted with fans while shutterbugs looked on.
And thanks to a recent Twitter post, followers of The Wanted will know to steer clear of sending Siva anything with polka dots on it.
Mr. Kaneswaran tweeted, “Great got to my hotel room and it’s my worst nightmare. Polka Dots on the walls, bed sheets, floors! #SivaHatesDolkaDots #Phobia.”

Talking about MTV VMAs
As two British-based boy bands prepare to face off at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards for best new artist, The Wanted’s Max George admits his money is on the other guys.
“I think One Direction will win. That is my prediction,” the 23-year-old said.
The Wanted, which had a hit this year with the party jam “Glad You Came,” is also up against Canadian sensation Carly Rae Jepsen, R&B singer Frank Ocean and pop-rockers fun. at the Sept. 6 awards show in Los Angeles.
Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness are rooting for “Call Me Maybe” singer Jepsen, while Nathan Sykes, the quintet’s youngest member, sees Ocean as the band’s biggest competition.
But Tom Parker isn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet.
“We could win best new artist, come on! We are one of the best new artists,” Parker said before the group performed at New York’s JFK airport Wednesday as part of Jet Blue’s “Live from T5” concert series. “We can take Frank Ocean. We can do this, boys!”
George said the cliche — it’s just an honor to be nominated — definitely applies to the band, who found recent success in America after releasing two popular albums and five hit singles in Europe. They released their debut EP in America this year and are planning a full-length album.
One Direction is also nominated for best pop video and will perform at the VMAs. But The Wanted has other interests.
“We’re just going for the free drinks,” joked McGuiness.
