Christmas has come to Sheffield after a star-studded line-up of guests celebrated the grand Christmas light switch-on at Meadowhall on Thursday night. Big names including The Wanted, Misha B, Lucy Spraggan, Lawson and Jessica Ennis all made appearances at the show, which was attended by a staggering 15,000 people – including a group of girls who had set up camp at 6am to get the best spot.
The event raised tens of thousands of pounds for The Children’s Hospital Charity and a teenage cancer charity.
